Events play a large role in helping SCRM raise funds and operate throughout the year. SCRM hosts a variety of events throughout the year; however, none compare to Day Out with Thomas. For our new members who may not be familiar with Day Out with Thomas, this event is our largest annual fundraiser. During Day out with Thomas, we call on our amazing member base to volunteer – we could not do this event without your support! This event requires the support of hundreds of volunteers each day.  Being a volunteer at Day Out with Thomas is fun, rewarding, and an excellent chance to meet fellow members and interact with thousands of guests, many of whom are visiting for the very first time.

Thomas and his friend Percy will be chugging their way to the museum November 2, 3, 9, 10 & 11 2024.

If you are unable to help during the actual event we can use your help setting up the week prior to the event, and/or putting things away the week following.

Once your Volunteer Assignment has been finalized, we will send out your itinerary via mail, or email if you select that preference.
