We want to start off by thanking you for your support of the Museum through your membership. Your support means so much to us, especially as we have navigated through these difficult times. As these difficult times, hopefully, remain at bay we have the opportunity to host our signature fall events!

Events play a large role in helping the Museum raise funds to continue operating throughout the year. The Museum hosts a variety of events throughout the year; however, none compare to Day Out with Thomas. For our new members who may not be as familiar with Day Out with Thomas, this event is our largest annual fundraiser. During this event we call on the help of our amazing member base to support the Museum through volunteering – we could not do this event without your support! This event requires the support of hundreds of volunteers each day.  Being a volunteer at Day Out with Thomas is fun and rewarding, and an excellent chance to meet fellow members and learn about other ways to get involved with the Museum.

Thomas and his friend Percy will be chugging their way to the museum November 5, 6, 11, 12, & 13, 2022.

If you are unable to help during the actual event, we could always use your help setting up prior to the event, and/or putting things away after the event.

If you are interested in volunteering please complete the Volunteer Form below, OR you may download & return a PDF version.

**All Volunteer forms must be received by the Museum no later than September 15th**

Once your Volunteer Assignment has been finalized, we will send out your itinerary via mail, or email if you select that preference..

On the days you volunteer, you will enter through the employee back gate to check in, and proceed to the Town Hall to sign in. I want to thank you for participation in our Day Out with Thomas event.

PLEASE NOTE:  Event is subject to cancellation based on current CDC and State guidelines.

There will be NO “Day Out with Thomas” in April 2023.
