From passenger service to freight operations, explore how the Southern Pacific connected communities and powered economic growth for generations.
Whether you’re a lifelong rail enthusiast or discovering railroad history for the first time, Southern Pacific Showcase offers a unique opportunity to experience the craftsmanship, innovation, and stories behind this iconic railroad—preserved and interpreted here at the museum.
Event will feature both hop-on hop-off rides for guests as well as demonstration only runs for observation. Full schedule will be provided soon – check back!

Guests can enjoy free general admission, access to open exhibits, and a rotating lineup of activities including unique equipment and demonstrations, scavenger hunts, lawn games, and a creative Maker Stations.
