Southern California Railway Museum is excited to host the Dino Train STEAM Festival, a unique, outdoor, socially distanced, interactive experience created in partnership with PBS. Buddy the Dinosaur has been invited to the Museum to meet with his fans and highlight his favorite topics of Paleontology, Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math. Previously Buddy’s only public appearance was at the LA Natural History Museum. We are excited to host him at Southern California Railway Museum in the Inland Empire! PBS has been a huge source of at-home learning content since the start of the pandemic. Devising ways to engage their audience through California State Standards and NGSS, teachers have incorporated shows like Buddy the Dinosaur into their distance-learning curriculum to help bring learning to life in these difficult times. Events like the Dino Train STEAM Festival are a chance to expand on what students have been learning at home in a unique, responsible, and socially distant way.
